We are here to inspire a revolution. Not a political, overthrow the government style revolution, but rather a personal revolution, one within ourselves. Within me and also within others. A creative revolution. One where people decide to create that thing they have been thinking about, that art, that business, that product, that project, that idea.
We want to inspire people and ourselves to take action, to give it a try and ultimately change our lives in the process. That is the revolution we want to create. This is what Riot Time Studios is all about.
We are about the creative revolution inside of us. And this is different for everyone. The creative revolution is about making something and getting it out into the world, whatever that something may be. We are in the process of this creative revolution ourselves. We are making children's books and publishing them and trying to make a success of it, that's what we are presently focussed on getting out into the world.
And even the picture books that we publish here at Riot Time Studios are part of our creative revolutionary message that we want the world to hear, again we are not going to indoctrinate anyone to some political ideology. It is a personal and creative revolution we hope to inspire and the philosophy in the kids books we create is as much for the adults reading the books as it is for the kids.
We have a title about being yourself and not caring what others say or think, (An important message for the creators) with 'The Man with the Fish on his Head'.
We have a picture book called 'Cat - for all the cat word lovers', which is about trying new things and discovering what you love in life.
We have a great children's book titled 'It Might be a Meteor, Right?' Which encourages us to explore questions of How? Why? And what if?
And a couple of books about using your imagination, ideation, problem solving and just giving it a go. 'What's in the Box?' and 'Should we Push the Button?'
All of these Australian picture books that we publish here at Riot Time Studios have a message. It is not obvious at first, not shoved down your throat, they are hidden within a quirky kids book. But they are all written to further our cause to spark a creative revolution within you. The creativity that is waiting to explode out of all of us, kids and adults alike.
